i had the honor of being able to photograph my friends jes and joe on their wedding day this past december. intimate, subtle and sweet - these two married on a gorgeous day with only their immediate family in attendance. jes and joe exchanged vows at st. helens followed by a family brunch at her childhood home. the clinking of mimosas, laughter over family stories and flipping through old wedding albums filled the morning. i couldn't be happier for the two and their families. congratulations friends and cheers to mr. and mrs. lace!

Liz & Doc, April 2014
i have known liz since i was little. she grew up with my sister doing everything together from dance recitals to trick-or-treating to cheerleading. they have remained close friends and even though they live quite a distance apart, i think it is safe to say they are as tight as ever. so when liz asked me to photograph her wedding, i was nervous and thrilled to do so. she was one of the calmest brides i have seen and doc was cool and collected too.
it was a small ceremony with both immediate families and a couple of friends on one of those, luckily, utterly perfect vero beach days. doc and liz strike me as being the perfect compliment to one another. the merging of the two families on their wedding day was special and you could tell there is a mutual respect and love for each other. it was a day of celebration and lots of dancing! the love in the air on april 3rd was abundant and i imagine it isn't going anywhere anytime soon! congratulations to doc and liz and cheers to married life in montana!
sneak peek, Liz & Doc
i was fortunate enough to photograph my first wedding a couple of weeks ago and here is a sneak peek from that special day. excited to share more from Liz and Doc's Vero Beach ceremony.
Diana and AD
at the end of august, i had the pleasure of photographing a new york city wedding reception for the lovely diana and ad. from the moment i walked in to the three story warehouse style metropolitan building in long island city, i knew the decor was going to be a feast for my camera's eyes. filled with vintage furniture and antiques, the decor was already in place and the 14ft ceilings helped add to the dramatic evening light coming through the large glass windows. the dessert table was more like a feast for my belly - with a wedding cake by momofuku - quite possibly my favorite cake i have ever seen at a wedding. it looked absolutely delicious as did the other desserts which were made by pure sweets.
the gorgeous florals were all done by xylem and phloem and the live band was fantastically keeping everyone away from their food and on the dance floor - which gave me some great opportunities for action dance moves.
below are some of my favorites. a special thank you to diana and ad for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of your special day - and many many congrats!
